ABC Brings on Laurel Road as Exclusive Partner for Member Student Loan Benefits
New partnership will provide student loan refinancing benefits and financial education tools to ABC members.
New York, NY — October 15, 2020 — Laurel Road, a digital lending platform and brand of KeyBank, is teaming up with the Association of Black Cardiologists (ABC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating the disparities related to cardiovascular disease in all people of color, as its exclusive partner for student loan benefits and tools.
ABC members, which represent more than 2,000 health professionals, lay members of the community (Community Health Advocates), corporate members, and institutional members, will receive a special discount on student loan refinancing rates through Laurel Road’s acclaimed digital lending platform. With Laurel Road’s already low rates, this partnership could help ABC members potentially save thousands over the life of their loans.1
“Laurel Road is proud to support the mission of the Association of Black Cardiologists and bring our student loan knowledge to ABC members,” said Paul Bamundo, senior vice president and head of business development and marketing partnerships for Laurel Road. “We understand that healthcare providers face unique financial challenges, and providing discounted rates and resources is an important benefit we can provide to ABC and its members as they work to advance health equity and help save lives.”
