We are a nonprofit organization with an international membership of health professionals, lay members of the community (Community Health Advocates), corporate members, and institutional members, dedicated to eliminating the disparities related to cardiovascular disease in all people of color.
Through this partnership, $100,000 has been committed for tuition assistance. Each $10,000 scholarship will support the enrollment and academic success of promising medical students from Black and other underrepresented communities.
Named in honor of ABC Founder, Richard Allen Williams, MD, FACC, FAHA, five (5) successful candidates will each be awarded a $5,000 scholarship to support their academic journey to becoming cardiologists.
We believe that good health is the cornerstone of progress. We are firm in our resolve to make exemplary health care accessible and affordable to all, dedicated to lowering the high rate of cardiovascular disease, including stroke, in minority populations and committed to advocacy and diversity. We are guided by ethical principles in all transactions and strive for excellence in our training and skills.
